Excerpt from Fisherman's interview under the cut.
Q: You’re currently in WYBH crew right.
FISHERMAN | When I was about to enter the crew, I made the song “Hogu”. When the song was completed and was about to be released, Giriboy was thinking of creating a DJ crew called WYBH and told me it’d be great if I could join it. So, I immediately replied with a “Yes!” and joined the crew. You can think of “Hogu” as the starting point.
Q. How did you end up making the song “Hogu”?
FISHERMAN | Before “Hogu”, I’d released a beat tape. At that time, I contacted all the rappers and producers on Twitter blindly to ask them to listen to my beat tape. Giriboy listened to it and sent me a reply saying that he enjoyed it. And he also asked to work together. That’s how we got to meet and made the song “Hogu”.
Q. At the start of your activities, you pursued the soft and minimalist kind of vibes right?
FISHERMAN | Back then, that’s the kind of music I listened to. My music preference seems to be the gentle and soft type. I usually listen to the soft kind of music a lot. When I was working with Giriboy, we connected a lot on that point.
